Rick Santorum complained recently that Fox News is constantly "shilling" for the "liberal" Mitt Romney on their daytime programming, leaving poor ol' Rick out in the cold. Somewhat surprisingly (to myself at least), Fox jumped up to defend their coverage of the candidates.
Video and commentary continue after the jump.

Even if Fox was pulling for Mitt to win, I would think that according to Rick's personal philosophy, Fox should be allowed to support whomever they wanted to, as they are a private corporation.
Of course, Fox doesn't solely support Mitt to win. Indeed, as the video above shows, commentators Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren openly express their support and admiration of the candidate.
In reality, Rick Santorum just complains in order to draw the sympathy of his supporters and the attention of the media. Rick needs to be careful though, as too much complaining now may come back to bite him later on. The People won't vote for someone who can't seem to hold his own, even in his own party.
